Island IT Solutions (Island ITS) was unofficially founded in 2005. Island ITS began servicing its customers by partnering with vendors who were seeking service and support. The senior members of Island ITS started doing business under their own umbrella to better service their growing customer base. Island ITS continues to provide service and support to vendors that need our expertise and extensive knowledge of the technology world to support their work loads. We serve as a full -service IT solutions provider, by providing support for every aspect of your business’ technical needs. Whether it is applications and hardware purchased from third-parties, or technology solutions purchased and installed by Island ITS, we can and will provide the service and support that your business needs. Joe Muro, Senior Partner - Systems Engineering
Joe started his technical career back in 1999 as a help desk support tech at a third party financial services firm. He then quickly moved up to become a senior network and systems engineer where he was responsible for researching, designing and implementing voice, data and network security products that would allow the company to securely do business under the strict guide lines of the many regulatory committees governing the industry. Joe was also responsible for the daily ongoing design and maintenance of the company's IP voice communications system which allowed the company to handle hundreds of thousands of phone calls on a daily basis 24 hours a day 7 days a week. In 2006 Joe decided to leave and explore his own business opportunities where he began to contract his services to other multi customer vendors where he performed the same services but at a larger scale. Today Joe is a founding partner of Island IT Solutions, LLC doing all that he can to better the universe one networked device at a time.

Sean Latimer, Senior Partner - Software Engineering
With over 14 years experience in computer programming, software development, systems analysis, and systems engineering - Sean is Island ITS' most experienced and veteran developer. Sean specializes in development of N-tier applications through complete development cycle utilizing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) methodologies - on an individual and group basis. He has also operated as database administrator (relational) managing and securing federally regulated banking industry data. He's well versed in managing projects and data needs to comply with SOX/PCI/HIPAA regulations. Sean graduated from the University @ Buffalo in 2000 with a BS degree in Computer Science and a minor in Management Information System. He has also held positions in several fortune 500 companies including: Citibank, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Verizon. A dedicated employee available 24/7, Sean is continuously expanding his knowledge base through furthering education and certification.

Marc Elmaleh, Senior Partner - Voice Communications Engineering
Technology has played a vital role in Marc's career starting with his first position as a quality control technician at a medical supply company. He later moved into web design with a very successful design firm in Brooklyn. Working with high profile clients such as VHI and Nickelodeon gave him the opportunity to use his strong organizational skills, educational background, and leadership to implement projects and create strong relationships in the business. His next opportunity was a management position for an internet service provider utilizing ISDN for the Mid West. There his responsibilities included managing a sales force along with managing the 24 hour help desk. His next career move landed him at an established telecommunications firm that specialized in voice over IP technology along with network management and support. He quickly moved up the ladder an established himself as the project manager for all new installations. His love for technology and passion for supplying solutions make him a perfect fit for the Island IT Solutions team.
